Many friends have been asking about the proposed Amendment Three to the Missouri Constitution. Our colleagues at the Thomas More Society, Mary Catherine Martin and Tim Belz, have analyzed the proposed constitutional amendment and provided their analysis. Tim and Mary Catherine were the attorneys who briefed and argued the lawsuit challenging the deceptive language in Amendment Three. Mary Catherine, Tim and the Thomas More Society won in the trial court but the Missouri Supreme Court reversed and ordered Amendment Three to be placed back on the ballot.
The diagram and summaries below provide an honest analysis of the language of Amendment Three. We encourage you to review this before you cast your ballot and to share this with others. As you will see, the manner in which Amendment Three is being advertised is quite deceptive and does not fairly represent the amendment Missouri voters are being asked to adopt.
Great thanks to our friends at Thomas More Society and to Tim and Mary Catherine for their work in support of the lives of women and the unborn and a defense of our state and federal constitutions and rule of law.
Please share this analysis and the summaries below with your friends and neighbors interested in casting an informed vote on Missouri's Constitutional Amendment Three.
